Ordering

How do I place an order?

Browse our products, select the card or item you'd like to send, personalize it with your message and recipient details, then proceed to checkout. You can pay securely with a credit or debit card via Stripe.

Can I send cards to multiple recipients in one order?

Yes! During checkout you can assign each card in your cart to a different recipient. Each card is individually addressed and mailed directly to its recipient.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Because our cards are personalized and enter the print queue quickly, we are unable to guarantee cancellations or changes once an order is submitted. Please contact us immediately through our contact page and we will do our best to assist you.

Do I need an account to place an order?

You can browse and add items to your cart as a guest. Creating an account allows you to save recipients, view your order history, and manage your saved cards for future orders.

Personalization

What information do I need to personalize a card?

At a minimum you'll need the recipient's name and mailing address. Depending on the card type, you may also be able to add a personal message inside the card and customize the front text or greeting.

Is there a character limit on personal messages?

Yes — character limits vary by card design and are shown during the personalization step. The editor will notify you if your message exceeds the available space.

Can I save recipients for future orders?

Yes. When you have an account, you can save individuals to your address book during checkout, making future orders faster.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected at checkout and the recipient's location. Estimated delivery times after printing are:

  • Domestic (United States): 5–10 business days
  • International: 2–6 weeks depending on destination country and customs processing

Expedited options may be available for select products. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed due to carrier and customs variability.

How do I track my order?

You can check the status of your card on our Card Status Lookup page using your order number. Registered users can also view their order history in their account.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship to many countries worldwide. International orders typically take 2–6 weeks to arrive after printing, depending on the destination country and local customs processing times.

Please ensure the recipient's address is complete and accurate, including the correct country and postal code, to avoid delays or returns.

What happens if a card is returned or undeliverable?

If a card is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, please contact us through our contact page. We will work with you to resolve the issue. Please note that re-shipping fees may apply.

Payment & Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. We also support store credit where applicable.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Written Expressions LLC never stores your card number or sensitive payment details.

Can I get a refund?

Due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales are final once an order enters production. If your order arrives damaged or has a printing error caused by us, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will make it right. See our Terms of Service for full details.

How do I create an account?

Click Sign Up from any page to create a free account using your email address.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login page, click Forgot your password? and enter your email address. We will send you a link to reset your password.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion from your account settings page or by contacting us through our contact page. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.
